17th July 2014
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Following the recent visit of HMI Jeremy Spencer to our school on 2nd and 3rd of July I am immensely proud to share with you a full Ofsted report.
The Inspection was upgraded from a monitoring visit to a full Section 5 inspection, and we are thrilled to receive such positive judgements for the work in school.
The determination and grit from the staff team is to be congratulated in the way that the school has improved rapidly since its last inspection in January 2013.
It has been particularly pleasing to see that the pupils’ progress has been noted in the way individual pupils are tracked; and that our pupils behave well and work hard. This grading was last achieved in 2006 and we are grateful to Neil Spencelayh and his staff at Witham St Hugh’s Academy in Lincoln for working as initial collaborative partners. However, as you can now see, the more recent changes and developments have been recognised as being driven from within by our own team.
We thank you, as parents, for your unerring and continued support, to our pupils for showing a real love of learning and to a whole school community that continues to strive for Ryhall CE School.
If, after reading this report, you do have any queries or questions then please don’t hesitate to contact me. This report will go onto our own school website and become available on the Ofsted website on 2nd September.
The school enters a new phase as an Academy in the Autumn Term 2014, but for now let us go off into the summer knowing that once again the community of Ryhall has a good school.
If you would like to share your views of the school and celebrate all that is good about Ryhall CE Academy, then please go to Ofsted's Parent View (click on the logo). If something about the school is making you unhappy then please share it with the Headteacher or Governors. Thank you.
